Summer Dates: June 9-15, 2024 at the University of Arizona - Tucson, AZ


Using Dr. Shawn Secatero’s “American Indian Well-Being Model in Higher Education,” NASEP provides activities aimed at holistically developing students. Program highlights have included an excursion to Biosphere II, networking with indigenous professionals from IBM and Raytheon, and building a computer “from scratch.”

  • Program dates: June 9-15, 2024
  • Priority Deadline: March 15, 2024
  • Eligibility:
    • Rising High School Juniors & Seniors
    • Enrolled Member or Descendent of AI/AN or Native Hawaiian Tribe
    • Completing Physics, Chemistry, & Pre-Calculus with a “C” or better 
    • Must attend the summer dates of June 9-15, 2024
    • Attend NASEP events throughout the year

*The applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the NASEP Program is full. Applications submitted after March 15, 2024, may be placed on a waitlist to be admitted to the program.
