Kiara Begay
2017 NASEP Participant
Kiara Begay is a community member of San Xavier District, part of the Tohono O'odham Nation consisting of eleven different districts. San Xavier District is located approximately 12 miles from the City of Tucson. Kiara is an incoming Junior going into the Fall of 2017, attending Salpointe Catholic High School. She is aiming to go into the field of Biomedical Sciences and to be a future role model in her community to younger Native students. NASEP has helped in her decision making of her future college years. The program has also provided opportunities of success in her near future with the help of everyone's guidance.
