SWE Scholarships Support Women Pursuing Bachelor or Graduate Student Programs
SWE Scholarships support those who identify as a women and pursue an ABET-accredited bachelor or graduate student program in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology, and fields related to engineering globally. In 2023, SWE disbursed over 330 new and renewed scholarships valued at more than $1,500,000!
SWE now offers scholarships in India! These SWE scholarships support students who identify as women and are enrolled in either a SWE India Affiliate school or Washington Accord-accredited program, and are pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in engineering, engineering technology, or fields related to engineering.
For all SWE scholarships, applicants complete one application and are considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible.
2024-2025 Academic Year Scholarship Applications:
- ABET Upperclass (rising sophomore, junior, senior undergraduates, and all graduate students): December 1, 2023 – January 31, 2024 at 5:00 PM CT – Apply Here!
- ABET Incoming Freshmen (incoming first-year students): February 2, 2024 – March 31, 2024 at 5:00 PM CT – Complete this form to be notified when the application opens!
- India (undergraduate or graduate students at select schools): December 1, 2023 – January 23, 2024 at 11:30 PM IST (12:00 PM CT) – Apply Here!
*Please note that deadlines are 5pm CT (except India deadlines at 12pm CT/11:30pm IST) and there will be no exceptions to any scholarship deadlines*
